On August 2nd, I finished radiation treatments!!!! My best friend flew out from DC to be with me, and my mother-in-law and husband also came along. It was the most people I’d ever had at any one appointment, and I felt incredibly loved and supported by not only them but also the incredible staff at the radiation center who all came out to cheer me on after I rang the bell. I included a short clip of my bell ringing at the end of this video below.

For many people, ringing the bell is an uplifting experience as it signifies the end of our most recent, and often most grueling, portion of our cancer journey. Ringing the bell is a very personal decision, and not everyone wants to do it. Also, for some people, they never get to ring the bell because they are in perpetual treatments, which don’t have an end date. So, I recognize this and I send love to my fellow cancer survivors, particularly those with metastatic cancers.

PS this is my first Gotta Draw ’em All where I’ve “cheated” and drawn multiple on the same drawing, but let’s face it, I’ll never get to 1k if I don’t “cheat” a little bit.

Prints of this drawing are available in my Fourthwall shop. Please feel no obligation to buy, but I just wanted to have more options to be able to share my projects with everyone. If there are any other drawings you’d like to request prints of, please let me know!
